| As one season ends and another begins, so starts the scurry to get your wardrobe in full
check. With the arrival of Atlanta's cooler weather, there's much to be excited about as
options xpand and the need for more coverage ensues. Fall 2008 is a season rich
with contradictions: minimalist vs. richly detailed bohemian trends; long and lean vs. soft
architecture and peplumed pieces. At Range Clothing Boutique, owner Sabrina Davis is
doing her part to keep Atlantans ahead of the style curve with her take on the season's
most promising–and flattering–looks. All you need is a closet stocked with updated
classics, and the new season offers up plenty. Here's a peak into what Davis will be
coveting well into the winter solstice. |

COLOR CODES |
| Black may be the new black, but Davis is doing her best to add her typical cherry palette
to the mild-mannered guise of the season. While sleek, jet black dresses are a
standout for evening and gray dominates for daytime, there are ways to add color and
still keep with a palette of autumnal Bordeaux, brown and cranberry. Pops of primary
red lend neutrals a deco vibe, and colored tights are a fab way to add color in a less
restrained manner. Your go-to LBD (little black dress) will certainly stand the test of
time, but if you are looking to modernize the look for evening, try it with fancy tights,
belting it, or adding shine or color with accessories. |

TAKE SHAPE |
| Get ready to make room for more than babydolls and trapeze dresses: A slimmer, more
ophisticated style is at the forefront. Silhouettes are a bit more streamlined, and the
volume ou've seen in seasons past turned up in a restrained and deliberate manner for
Fall. Full oulders or a pouf at the end of a sleeve add character to stark, architectural
tailoring, and layered looks–trench coat over blazer over turtleneck–allow you to add
personality to any ensemble. Theshape du jour at Range is ladylike but in a structured,
professional way. Think body-conscious dresses that emphasize the hourglass. |

MORE THAN A FEELING |
| If you're mad for plaid and have a need for tweed, velvet, shearling and fur to keep you
warm, you're in luck. Fall is all about textures and a quiet sophistication that's feminine,
yet fun. In the cold-weather months, low-key dressing calls for cozy comfort.
Fortunately, sweaters continue to be a strong point. Weighty cardigans, knit dresses
(chunky or thin), turtlenecks and grandpa styles offer ideal coverups for the season.
Though Davis has picked up on less embellished pieces than what she's used to
carrying, bohemian beading, retro-style animal prints, elegant fur-trimmed cuts, and
structured, soft-shouldered jackets offer a luxuriousness and versatility that's worthy of
all your senses. |

NATURAL SELECTION |
| Davis may be down to earth, but she's prone to flights of fancy via feathers and winter
foliage. Bohoemian-chic patterns were all the rage on the runways, and Range is
adopting some of these favorite materials for Fall. Foliage flourishes in print form, from
leaves to late blooms, and feathers offer whimsical touches to tops, dresses and even
accessories. You can mix and match for work, evenings and the weekends and know
you'll always be chic. |

SAY IT WITH JEWELRY |
| Statement necklaces, bangles and rings are completely of the moment for Fall–
fortunately for you, Range shares its space with a bead and jewelry store. Put your
links, chains and heavy metals away for now, and bring on the beads! Layered strands
in complementary colors look so de rigueur this season, as do big bangles stacked up
your arm, chunky stone rings on one hand or both, and eye-catching accessories in
shades of purple, yellow and turquoise. Jewelry with personality is key, so update
classics (like your LBD) with enviable jewelry that's guaranteed to do all the talking for
you. |
