I designed this dress because I wanted one piece that could truly do it all. It looks like a classic shirt dress, but hidden underneath are built-in shorts, so you can sit, get out of the car, travel, run around town, or move through your day without ever worrying about showing more than you intended.
As you walk, the dress moves in a way that’s unexpectedly flattering, showing just a bit more leg than a traditional shirt dress. It’s polished, sophisticated, and has a confidence about it that’s hard to explain until you put it on.
Made from 100% cotton, it’s lightweight with beautiful structure and a smooth, substantial feel that makes it look and feel far more elevated than your average cotton dress. It’s easy to pack, easy to style, and easy to care for with a cold hand wash.
This is the first piece in my new collection, XOXO Sabrina, and I didn’t rush it. It took a year and a half, countless samples, and working with manufacturers until I felt we had every detail exactly right.
The inspiration came from a dress I bought in my 20s that I’ve worn for nearly 30 years. I’ve received more compliments on that dress than almost anything else I’ve ever owned, and for years I kept thinking, if I could make this dress even better, I would.
After nearly 40 years in fashion and 23 years helping women find pieces they truly love, I finally did.
